Add image to PDF

Insert a photo, logo, or stamp, resize it, and save.

How to add image to PDF online

To add an image to a PDF, open the document, click Image in the toolbar, and choose a JPG or PNG from your device. The image appears on the page where you can drag it into position and resize it with the corner handles. Click Save to download the updated PDF. Transparent PNGs keep their transparency.

Step by step

Three steps. Most files take a few seconds.

  1. Step 1: Open your PDF

Drop the file onto the page.

  2. Step 2: Insert an image

Click Image, choose a JPG or PNG, then drag and resize it on the page. Add it to more pages if needed.

  3. Step 3: Save

Click Save PDF. The image is embedded at full quality.

Why use this tool

  • Transparency preserved

PNG logos with transparent backgrounds sit cleanly over the page content.

  • Keeps proportions

    Corner handles resize without stretching.

  • Any page

Place the same image on several pages, or different images on each.

Your file is never stored

Your document is used only to produce the result you asked for. Once the download is ready and you leave the page, the file is gone. There is no copy to keep, no account that holds it, and nothing to delete later.

That makes it safe for invoices, contracts, bank statements, ID scans, medical records, and anything else you would rather keep to yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How do I insert a picture into a PDF?

Open the file in Add Image to PDF, click Image, pick the picture, position it, and click Save PDF.

Which image formats work?

JPG and PNG are embedded directly. WebP, GIF, and BMP are converted to PNG first.

Can I add a signature image?

Yes, but the Sign PDF tool is quicker: it lets you draw or type a signature and removes the background automatically.

Is it safe to use this with confidential documents?

Yes. Your file is used only to produce the result you asked for and is never stored. We do not keep copies, read the contents, or share them with anyone. Once you download the result and close the page, the file is gone.

Is this really free?

Yes. Every tool on PDF Editor Box is free to use without signing up. We may show an ad outside the work area, but we never gate features, add watermarks to your output, or limit how many files you process.
